Day 01 Reception at the DJERBA ZARZIS airport and transfer at home.

Day 2 DJERBA / TOUNINE / TOUJENE / MATMATA

Departure to tounine via the ferry. Continuation to Toujene for a magic photo of one of the most beautiful Berber villages at an altitude of almost 600 m. Continuation to Matmata to stay in a cave (a troglodyte house). After lunch we will visit the berber village of Tamezret. Back to the village for a walk and to assist to the sunset near the lunar landscape of the film Star Wars to George Lucas. Back to home to prepare the bread in the oven and prepare the dinner. Sleep on the floor on mats or rugs.

Night on the floor and spend the night without light. Candles or gas lamps are available, however.
Berber cuisine and meals will be on the menu.

Day 3 MATMATA / DOUZ / DESERT

After breakfast departure to Douz through the reg. A time for shopping in the center of le village and then beginning of the escape by entering the Sahara until BIR IL HAJ, a source of water to refresh. After a picnic near Twal LEH TEHLIL .. Continuation to ZMILET ETHENIYA up for camp. Collect wood and help the staff to prepare dinner. Participate in talks and dances around the fire. Night in Bedouin tents already installed on your own.
NB. A walk of an hour and a half or more will be scheduled before or after lunch.

Day 4 continuing the escape through the grand erg oriental

After breakfast continuation of the escape across the Grand Erg Oriental GRIITTINE via ILBIBEN with its sand dunes. A picnic lunch near ILBIBEN beside a wadi. Resume 4 * 4 to go to LIGRII and bivouac. Search for the wood to make Khobzi IL MELLA (bread of the desert) and prepare dinner. Night in Berber tents or under the stars.
NB. A walk of an hour and a half or more will be scheduled before or after lunch.

Day 5 KSAR GHILANE / GUERMESSA / Douiret

Breakfast. Direction to Ksar ghilene to visit the famous Roman fortress. After the visit, you will turn into nomads for a ride camel on the dunes of the golden sand of ksar GHILANE. Picnic around the region ksar ghilene depending on weather conditions. In the afternoon, direction to the string Dahar mountain with its famous Berber villages and granaries.(stores) A visit of  GUERMESSA, an old Berber village perched on the top of  a mountain. After that we’ll continue to Douiret, another Berber village, to visit and stay for a night.
NB. You will sleep in cave houses and eat traditional meals specialty of Douiret.
Visit a cemetery purely Berber.

Day 6 Douiret / KSAR Oueled SOLTANE / KSAR EZZAHRA / DJERBA

After breakfast direction to KSAR Oueled SOLTANE: a  Berber village. Visit the place. Continue to another berber village: KSAR EZZAHRA. Photo and back to home to Djerba via the Roman road ‘ the famous roman bridge that links djerba to the continent. In the afternoon visit of the Museum of Guellala and a very old pottery factory. Back to home.

Giorno Day 7 FREE DAY

Opportunity to visit HOUMT Essouk the capital of the island, with its old and caravanserais fondouks. Opportunity also to do other trips or tours according to our recommendations.

NB. In case of good weather we propose to pass the day at sea. The program will be as follows:
After breakfast, departure to "HOUMT Essouk" to go shopping and buy for our trip at sea for instance to buy ingredients for Tunisian salad and to buy fresh fish for a tasty barbecue. Once all equipments are on board, direction to a small island. Preparing lunch (cut tomatoes and onions and so on. cleaning fish and preparing the grill. Meanwhile, we will see a demonstration of fishing net and also the "ZARB." After meals and before you can  swimming, reading, or even fishing ... back to the house. Dinner

The grill will be made on the coal.
You can bring your fishing equipment (rods, reels, lines down ...)

Day 8 Transfer to the airport of Djerba Zarzis
